Sursa Hall is a musical jewel for the entire community, blending first-rate acoustical design with musical intimacy. It is designed to foster a close connection between performers and audiences, and its acoustical tuning capabilities allow performers to adjust the hall’s sound qualities to suit their individual preferences.

Associated Controls and Design had the unique privilege to provide and install the acoustical elements and controls in the new facility constructed for the School of Music. The owner can “tune” the room by moving any of ten 2000 pound panels and seven perimeter curtains in less than one minute to adjust the amount of reflected/absorbed sound in the hall. This allows the School to tailor the listening experience for the kind of music and the size of ensemble performing.
